Explore

You are an explorer. When things have settled down a bit in your own life, you will need something to stimulate your brain cells. Your mind is your best friend. Your mission will be to document and observe the world as if you’ve never seen it before. Collect things you find on your travels. Focus on one captivating thing at a time. Aside from all the chaos and day to day stuggles, there will be times where you will notice the little things in life. Times of happiness, times of sadness, and all the other emotions that we are programmed for. However, we will always have time to start exploring places, people, and things that are foreign to you. From food to music to clothes, and what other countries have to offer. Hopefully they will suddenly be fascinating to you. Don’t make things too much of a routine. Just be open minded and eager for something fresh and different from what you are currently accustomed to.

Chasing Someone

It’s better to let go and see if they come back, rather than holding on to see if they let go. So many times are we chasing the sun, trying to catch it before it sets. You must find that it is necessary to let go of the things you can’t have. Simply for the reason that they are too heavy for us.

Boys vs. Men

A boy will try to make his mark within society. He will accept favors and give orders. They will try to fit within the social mold and be the bandwagon of anything that is currently trending. That is why they are attracted to the mediocre and popular things in life. They demand respect from people because their arrogance, ego, and pride are far too much. A man, on the other hand, will strive to leave his mark. If he accept favors, he’ll always return them. Instead of demanding orders, they inspire and motive people. They break out of the social mold to individualize and produce strategies for successful. They never settle for anything ordinary. Men takes responsibility to raise his own family after marriage, while boys are just looking for sex. Keep in mind, physical appearances does not determine whether you’re a man or not. Someone can be 7 foot tall but still haven’t grown up maturely yet. The differences are many, but the real difference is that a boy will only take the necessary amount of steps. While a man takes the extra step. Congratulations to all the real men out there who took the extra step. Women aren’t looking for boys. They’re looking for men.

Be Someone You Would Admire

Spend as much time as you can around the people in your life who radiate happiness and confidence. The best way to get the inspiration you need in your personal growth is to watch someone who is living their life, in action. Learning more about how they do what they do, will provide you with a useful blueprint or help you see that maybe that’s not the path you really want to go down. The future belongs to people who think for themselves. Before you hold on to celebrities to such high standards or people you think to have great worth, hold yourself to high standards.

Unwanted Association

Whoever you attract your way may never leave you alone, so don’t be too nice or too close unless you really mean it. Learn to say no. You have the power to be picky, so use it.

New Never Gets Old

Most of us have an insatiable need for the new thing. New shoes, new phones, new haircuts, new relationships. We get so bored with our existing items that merely changing the packaging inspires us. Things grow old. We mature and find new hobbies. We lose passion. We need the upgrade to stay relevant. We like new stuff because it gives us excitement. The newness never stops until we find the right one.

Staying Awake

When the train begins, we relax and fall asleep. During the trip we are free to think of anything wherever our minds let us wander. When the train is near our stop, we stay wide awake near the end. We always do that. But let’s say the train misses our stop and goes beyond our destination to somewhere we don’t know. A slight hint of anxiety would persist within our thoughts. It’s the certainty that puts us to sleep, and the uncertainty that keeps us awake. Most would rather be unhappy or angry than to be uncertain. The unknown is a risky venture to face. We don’t know if we’ll end up in a good place or not. But who says we should fear our own path to the future? Get messy. Make mistakes. It’s nice to experience life while you are awake.

Letting Go

You know you’re strong when you come to a decision to let go of the person you love in order for them to find somebody else who can fulfill their needs and make them truly happy. Just thinking about them with someone else completely kills you. So you have to decide whose happiness is more important. Yours or theirs?

Freedom To Fly

People are like birds. Birds are fascinating creatures that can fly anywhere they want, at anytime. Although we do not have wings to fly, there’s another thing we all have in common. Freedom to travel. Considering I have the same ability that birds have — to go anywhere in the world, why don’t I travel that often? Why do I stay in the same place? Birds are accustomed to where they live because they are familiar to their environmental surroundings. It takes a while to adapt to a new place. However, if I get too familiar with my surroundings, I might end up getting bored and monotonous. My mind would only be confined just like a prison cell, stuck in one place. As few believe, freedom is an understatement. I feel the overwhelming urge to travel the world. Especially to beautiful places that makes all of my problems and worries seem so small.

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Home can be more than just a physical place. Home can be your family. The people that have molded and shaped you into the person you are today. It can be the friends that’s been there for you, sharing lifetime experiences along the way. It can be the lyrics of a song or the particular melody of an instrument. It can be on stage or in the field doing something you’re passionate about. Home can be in a book that captivates your imagination. The list could go on and on, but the point is “home” can be anywhere or anything. You hold its own definition. You figure out in your heart what home really means to you. Money can buy a house, but not a home. When I am home, I can establish a sense of love, comfort, and peace. I feel in the safest environment where there are no worries or problems within the walls of my home. It is that one place where I can truly be myself. Home is where the heart is. If you haven’t found it yet, keep searching. Everybody needs one.
